Abstract

The current case record describes Buschke's disease in a 52-year-old man with stiffness and density in the trunk skin. The patient has Type 1 diabetes mellitus for more than 30 years. The patient was treated with antibiotics, corticosteroids, poly-enzyme substance, liver preservatives, cytoflavin, poly-vitamins. The focus lesions improved with a slight decrease in infiltration, and the skin color in the reddened area was lightened. Skin diseases are common in patients with diabetes mellitus. This clinical case will allow for the emergence of such patients in the early stages of the disease at the appropriate time, increasing the knowledge of practitioners about Buschke sclerema, a rare skin disease.
