Gebelik, Doğum ve Ebeveynlik Süreçlerinde Psikolojik Dayanıklılık

Gebelik, doğum ve ebeveynlik süreçlerinde fizyolojik ve psikososyal açıdan birçok değişim yaşanmaktadır. Bu değişimler kadınların karşılaştığı zorlayıcı durumlar karşısındaki psikolojik stres tepkilerinde değişikliklere yol açabilmektedir. Pozitif psikolojinin boyutları arasında yer alan ve geliştirilebilen bir kavram olan psikolojik dayanıklılık, bireylerin olumsuz ve zorlayıcı durumlar karşısında uyum sağlama kapasitesini ve zorluklarla etkin başa çıkabilme mekanizmalarını temsil eden dinamik bir süreçtir. Psikolojik dayanıklılık gebelikte, doğum ve ebeveynlik süreçlerinde stresin olumsuz etkilerini azaltan koruyucu bir faktör olarak görülmektedir. Psikolojik dayanıklılık düzeyi yüksek olan kadınlarda doğum korkusunun, doğum sonu depresyonun, doğumla ilişkili travma sonrası stres bozukluğunun daha az görüldüğü buna karşın doğum eyleminde öz-yeterlilik düzeyinin arttığı bilinmektedir. Bu derlemeyle gebelik ve doğum sürecinde psikolojik dayanıklılığın önemine dikkat çekmek ve bu konuda farkındalık oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır.
