Aim: The purpose of this research is to determine nursing students' perceptions of care behavior. Materials and Methods: This descriptive type of research data was carried out in 11-13 March 2020 with the participation of 253 students studying at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades of the nursing department of a university health school. Written permission was obtained from the ethics committee of the university and the institution for the research. Student data sheet and “Care Behavior Scale-24” scale were used to collect data. The data were analyzed in SPSS 22.0 program using Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis H and Spearman correlation tests. Cronbach's alpha value for the research was found to be 0.940. Results: The average age of the students participating in the study was 21.45 ± 2.12 years, 71.5% were women and 37.2% were 2nd year students. It was found that the perception of the students' care behaviors improved as they progressed, but it did not show a statistically significant difference (p>0.05), the scale total and subdimension mean scores did not vary according to gender, family type, location variables experienced in undergraduate education (p>0.05). There was no relationship between age and total scale and sub-dimension mean scores (p> 0.05). The mean total score of student nurses from BDÖ-24 was 5.12 ± 0.53. Conclusion: As a result of the research, it was determined that student nurses' perception of care behavior was above average. In order to maintain and improve the positive perception, we can suggest that researches be conducted to investigate the factors that affect nursing students' perceptions of care behavior
