Abstract

In postgraduate education, it is important to adopt academic ethical values as well as ethical values. The aim of this study was to examine the ethical value inclinations and academic ethical values of postgraduate health science students. This cross-sectional study was conducted with 203 postgraduate students enrolled in the Health Sciences Institute.  Data were gathered with a “Personal Data Form,” the “The Inclination to Ethical Values Scale” and the “Academic Ethics Values Scale”. The students' inclination to ethical values and their sensitivity to academic ethical values were quite high level and particularly greater among doctoral thesis students and the nursing students. A positive and moderate correlation was found between the students’ inclination to ethical values and their sensitivity toward academic ethics values.
