The research was descriptive and cross-sectional. The sample of the study consists of 38 patients with liver transplantation. Data were collected with the Patient Identification Form, the SF-36 Quality of Life Scale, the Modified Post-Transplantation Symptom Occurrence and Discomfort 58-Item Scale (MTSORD-58ᵀᴿ), and the Self-care Strength Scale. In the study, it was determined that the mean age of the patients was 48.13±12.90 and 60.5% of them were primary school graduates. It was determined that the quality of life physical and mental health score averages of the recipients were 35.84±9.21, 36.48±12.53, the mean self-care power score was 106.55±18.91, the mean symptom formation score was 133.07±35.68, and the mean symptom discomfort score was 69.63 ±37.84, respectively. 84.3% of the patients went to the center where they were transferred monthly according to the doctor’s recommendation, 31.3% could not benefit from health services effectively, 24% could not eat according to their diet at the place where they went for the check-up, 25.6% could not communicate with the health personnel, 78.9% received income from expenses. are few, 81.6% do not work in a job that generates income, 26.5% cannot go to the TCc center due to economic insufficiency, 23.4% have transportation difficulties, 26.3% do not find a place to stay in the place where the transfer center is located, 7.9% go to the controls It was determined that he left the settlement and moved to the place where the transplant center was located because he had difficulties in arrival. In this study, it was determined that liver transplant recipients living far from the transplant center experienced many problems, had a low quality of life, good self-care ability, and high symptom development.
